Hotel Policies

Reservation Policies:

  • Valid Credit Card Details Required to make a booking.
  • The card will be charged at the time of booking and is non refundable.
  • All credit card payments are subject to a credit card bank fee.

 

Standard Cancellation Policy:

24 hours prior to cancellation is our standard policy. Cards will be charged within the 24 hour time frame for the full payment (subject to booking terms accepted during your reservation).

 

Security Bond / Credit Card Charge:

A Valid Form of photo I.D. and credit card will be required at the time of check in.

In the instance where the Credit card used does not belong to the guest checking in a credit card authorization form must be provided – form can be requested from reception@lincolngreen.co.nz

An additional $100 security bond will be charged upon arrival with the credit card provided.

Once a charge has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the charged amount, until we process the final account on departure.

The security bond will be refunded upon departure unless used at the hotels discretion to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

Telephone charges, room service or extra breakfast charges

Any breakages or damage / smoking in room damage incurred during your stay.

Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning due to the room being left in an unacceptable state.Additional full cleaning services requested more than once a day.

We reserve the right to reject bookings, evict and / or remove guests who cannot provide enough bond to cover potential damage / charges. Guests who damage property will be blacklisted from Quality Hotel Lincoln Green and we may choose to involve / notify the police if guests do not cooperate and vacate the premises when requested by the Hotel in a courteous manner.

 

Who is responsible?

The registered guest name is the person responsible for the hotel room and its contents for the period of registration. The registered guest will be liable for damages caused by third parties, including but not limited to visiting friends; regardless of whether the registered guest is present or not at the time the damage occurs.

 

But I have prepaid my accommodation?

You may have prepaid your accommodation with one of our online suppliers. In this instance you will only be asked for a credit card / authorization form for the bond to cover incidentals of your stay.

If you do not have any charges on your account, your bond will be refunded on the day of departure by close of business.

This is a requirement for the hotel to accept your booking.

 

Why do you do this?

Sadly, our industry is regularly being targeted by people who are using stolen credit cards or just choose not to pay for their stay. We have 5-20 credit cards a month that are rejected when we go to charge them.

Unfortunately, it is the small number of people that can potentially cost us a lot of money that has meant this policy has been introduced.

General Policies:

Hotel check in time is from 2.00pm.
Hotel check out time by 10.00am.

Early Arrivals/Late departures are available however, this is subject to availability and may incur additional costs. All Rooms are charged on a ‘per night’ basis.

For all room types, rates are set for up to 2 people per night.

$20.00 extra is added per additional person when using existing bedding up to the room capacity stated.

Children from the age of 0-11 are free of charge when using existing bedding.

Guests 12 and over are classed as adults and will be charged accordingly.

Quality Hotel Lincoln Green reserves the right to relocate any booking to a hotel of the same standard in the case of third-party website errors, system errors or unexpected maintenance issues. All bookings are subject to availability.

Should you wish to extend your reservation, reception must be notified, and payment arranged prior to the departure time of 10am as rooms are subject to availability.

You must be at least 18 years of age to book hotels on this website.

You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by a deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room(s), hotel premises, or property, by you or any person in your party, whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. The Quality Hotel Lincoln Green reserves right to charge or debit the credit/debit card presented upon registration at 100% of the full new replacement value, plus any shipping and handling charges, to compensate the costs or expenses incurred or suffered as a result of damages. Should these damages come to light after you have departed, we reserve the right – and you hereby authorize us – to charge your credit/debit card to make good for any damage caused to your room or the hotel property during your stay, including, but not limited to, property damage(s), missing or damaged items, smoking fees, cleaning fees, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally, prior to contracting a specialist to make the repairs. Therefore, we will make every effort to keep any costs you would incur to a minimum. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued

The Quality Hotel Lincoln Green has the right to act against any guest or visitor found to have tampered or interfered with any detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas, guest rooms, emergency break-glass points, and fire extinguishers. Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged $250.00 +GST for any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and will be evicted from the hotel without recompense. Any guest actions that result in triggering the fire alarm will result in a minimum $1500.00+GST fine to cover the cost of the call out fee imposed by the NZ Fire & Rescue Service. Depending on the severity of the guest’s actions, law enforcement may become involved at the hotels discretion. Should the fact that firefighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after you have departed, we reserve the right – and you hereby authorize us – to charge your credit or debit card for any damage caused to your room or the hotel property during your stay.

All rooms are non-smoking/ non-vaping – if smoking/ vaping should occur in your room an additional service charge of $250.00 + GST will be added to your bill.

The registered guest is liable for the account in the event that the indicated person, company or association fails to pay for any part of the invoice and are liable for any damage/theft from the room.

The hotel is not responsible or liable for motor vehicles parked on site and items left in rooms.

The Quality Hotel Lincoln Green enforces a No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. No parties, loud disturbances, and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without receiving a refund. The registered guest is responsible for all persons visiting. Non-registered visitors are only permitted until 10:00 P.M. If found with more people not listed on the Guest Registration Form after 10:00 P.M., your stay will be considered a party. You will be ordered to vacate the premises without receiving a refund and may be issued a Guest Compensation Disturbance Fee for any guest complaints that require compensation. Quality Hotel Lincoln Green reserves the right to amend information on this site at any time. Guests agree that all information given for the booking are true and correct. Credit card details must match those of the person making the booking.

Bookings may be rejected by Quality Hotel Lincoln Green at any time if this information fails to meet our terms and conditions.
